I LOVE this quote below! For me meditation has created space in my life for mindfulness. To see my own conditioning, inner program's, fears and limits. To see me rather than stay so busy in my life I don't stop and take time for me to see and feel what's happening in me. Not hearing what I need, or what my body is trying to tell me. Until things get so chaotic they scream. Simply meaning when we allow the busy mind and allll it's stories, drama, pity party to be there, Simply slow down and take time to see who we are and what we do... that's step number one. Slow down and see. Create space in your life for you to see you.
Next...it's than the acceptance of what we do...of who we are...seeing it's simply our programming...what we did n thought or do and think automatically without thinking about it from the conditioning of our child. The underlying thoughts which create our reality. Accept who you are.
It's those two steps See who you are and accept who you are that break the pattern of resistance...of constantly thinking everything needs to change and overwhelming need to fix or take care of(anxiety) or the idea it's all wrong and you can't it's too much (depression) ...it's the acceptance of who and you are that stops your inner fight. The fight in your head. You fighting you. Than when your no longer giving your energy to the drama and fight but simply accepting what is and how it feels...it no longer creates struggle. That is Happiness. The allowance of who you are and what you do and think. To see is to be free.
